UUA Disaster Relief
Rev. Lauren Smith of the UUA Disaster Relief Fund has issued an emergency appeal to meet the needs of Iowa residents affected by the devastating derecho winds of last week. From Rev. Smith:
The UUA Disaster Relief Fund is here for UUs and UU congregations when disaster strikes…. Grants from the fund are used for purchasing food, building repair, emergency supplies like water and first aid, and much more. This is a unique way for Unitarian Universalists to give back to each other and support the larger faith community.
