What’s Up at First UU

This Sunday, December 28 will be our End of Year Celebration Potluck Meal.
Food drop off is 10:45-11:15, Meal begins at 11:30, and Cleanup 12:45. Please join us regardless of if you are bringing food, we would love to have you!
- There will be NO choir practice on Dec 28. Practices will resume on January 4 at 9 am. New members are always welcome to join the choir.
- The first fundraiser for 2026 will be a Silent Auction. Proceeds will go towards new plater boxes and the capital fund. Let Emily J know if you have a piece of art to donate. Art pieces must be donated by December 28.
- Have you considered joining the First UU Book Group but aren’t available to meet during the day? The Book Group is considering hosting book group in the evening so that it is open to more folks. What do you think? Would you come to the group if we met in the evening? Onsite and virtual options would be available. Reach out to Lynn Schluns or Roberta Weeden with your feedback. Your input is appreciated.
- UU continues to support Ekklesia, Rev. Michelle’s campus ministry, by providing occasional Sunday evening meals. If you would like to help provide meals, contact Holly G. You could lead a team to prepare and serve, or join a team that someone else is leading. There is a fund to reimburse for food costs. If you cannot help with a meal team but want to support the project, donations to pay for supplies can be designated “Ekklesia Meals”.
